assembling trees for you

Today is a day when someone does 50% of the work for 35% more? Tomorrow will be the same day.

awkwardly giggling to myself

Saw this at the office. You can almost see where the coke is spraying out of the can. When it gets lower than the hole the show will be over. Not sure why I was so entertained.

Found this in a stockroom, had me dying laughing.

"hey, I can't find the lock."

"fork it!"

Well, she said she needed a new travel make up bag. She does love dogs. I think it came out pretty great.

Wish I could take credit for how well my bag went with my dress and the table cloth.

Sometimes I need to bake cupcakes. Sometimes I walk down to the Hotsy Totsy to meet some friends and have a beer. Sometimes these two events are joined together thanks to one third of a Trader Joe's grocery bag.

Scottsdale has sad dishware

Stayed at some fancy-ish hotel/spa that charged me for resort privileges I did not use. I did drink two beers and I did fall asleep before 10 PM. My breakfast oatmeal came with sad pecans. They were in the most emo dish I've ever encountered.

Then, back to work. This isn't from this job, but one like it. This is the future for this job.

Forgot about the little bag for the little sister's belated birthday.

I put an apron/money belt in there for her to use at her art shows. It has birds on it. It has all the birds on it...and lots of pockets and zippers.

happy mom's day...in July

The 91st birthday party reviewed the high probability that we are witches in an attempt to explain the lack of males in the family past the age of 40-50. Immortality? Falling for mortals? Climbing trees in crocheted bear claws? walking on stilts that are taped to your feet? Family. Best part was a tie between 10 yr old voting that he was in fact not too old for claws (I sewed them on the spot) and the niece practicing piano in hers the next day.

Belated mom day pouches made of outdoor material for sturdiness, lined in polka dots for fun, stenciled with gold paint and hand cut graphic. Filled with almond, cayenne, dark chocolate pops that didn't survive transit well and chapstick based solid perfume sticks (from Bust how-to). Used the powdered sugar mold for lollipop method, but with cocoa powder.
